Princess Sarah Al-Faisal Al-Saud

A Saudi social activist whose activities focus on issues affecting women and children. She previously served in the Saudi Shura Council.

She is the daughter of late King Faisal bin Abdel-Aziz and his wife Effat Al-Thunayan.

Princess Sarah established one of the first charitable organizations in Saudi Arabia under the name of "Al Nahda’” which she headed. She also established the Private Islamic Education Schools in 1964. This is in addition to being the Chairman of the Board of Founders and a member of the Board of Trustees of Effat University.

In May 2013, Princess Sara was granted the King Abdulaziz Badge of Honor, First Class, in recognition of her activities.
