Previously, she headed the media arm of Al-Hoqail Investment Group. Throughout her career, Bukhari used her poetry as a platform to vocalize her views on men, women, romance, and, the Arab World’s pressing problems and contemporary societal issues. Her poetry works opened to critical acclaim.
In tandem, Bukhari had pursued a career in journalism before setting up arts, culture and society magazine Maraya as its editor in chief. She continues to run it today.
Bukhari initially studied beauty therapy and cosmetics, and started her career as a beauty specialist. Her first entrepreneurial venture was her own beauty center in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
