Ghada Al-Mutairi, was born in 1976 in America to Saudi parents.

She graduated from the Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry, University of Ocidental, Los Angeles, and completed her Master's degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.

She received her PhD from the State of California in Chemical Engineering and is currently a professor at the University of California, USA.

She has submitted numerous scientific research papers (micro-technique) translated in Germany, Japan and the United States.

She received the New Innovations Award from the National Institute of Health in 2009, the Pharma Foundation Award in 2009, the Thema Chemistry Journal Award in 2009, and the Young Investigators Award from the World Biomedical Congress in China in 2012.
